George

George Mason was born in the inner city suburb of Alexandria.  His family moved to the Bankstown district where he played junior rugby league.

He was a Canterbury Bankstown junior, who played with the Bankstown Club and was selected to play in the 1926 Canterbury Bankstown President’s Cup team. George was residentially qualified to play for Wests as Canterbury was part of Wests junior rugby league prior to 1935.
