Colin

Wests Archive would like to acknowledge the contribution made by Colin Fewtrell’s son, Terry Fewtrell. By preserving records and memories of his father, Colin’s contribution to the rugby league game can be told and celebrated.

Colin Fewtrell was born in Sydney in 1917. His family lived at Homebush, NSW. Colin attended and was educated at the nearby St Patrick’s Catholic College.

He played with the College team before joining Concord Ritz C Grade team in 1933. He was a promising junior and that year was invited to represent a Wests C Grade team to play against St George.
