There were two Baldock families in the Western Suburbs rugby league catchment circa 1910. There was Reg Baldock’s family based in Ashfield and there were the Baldocks of Enfield/Burwood.
A check of public records indicates that there were no Baldocks from the Enfield/Burwood area that were in the right age range to have played for Wests.
A further check with a descendant of the Enfield/Burwood Baldocks confirms that there was no known connection with the Ashfield Baldocks.
