Ray

Ray Waldon was graded with Wests in 1935 and made his First Grade debut that season. He played with Wests until 1941 but there has been some confusion as to whether it was Ray Waldon or Ron Waldron who played with Wests in 1945.

No one by the name of Ron Waldron has been found that could have played for Wests in 1945. So was it Ray Waldon that returned to the Magpies?

Ray played for Wests from 1935 until 1941 but missed the 1940 season. So what happened in Ray Waldon’s life in the early 1940’s and how did this affect his rugby league career?
