Gilbert

Player #77 is listed as Scott in Wests First Grade Heritage List, while player #48 is listed as W. Scott in the same list.

The Rugby League Project has no player by the name of Scott but has a P. Scotten who supposedly played for Wests in 1909 and 1910.

The Rugby League Project has effectively combined these players and adopted an incorrect name. Wests players #77 and #48 are not the same player and there is no P. Scotten that played for Wests.

The rugby League Project has player #77 (Scott), playing one First Grade game with Wests  and that was in round eleven against Eastern Suburbs in 1910. He does appear in the First Grade team list to play Annandale in round twelve but there is no indication that he played in that match.

Wests player #77 is Gilbert H Scott but who was known throughout his life as Gilbert Basil Scott.
