Don

Don Murray grew up in the Sydney suburb of Ashfield and played his junior football with the Ashfield Rovers Rugby League Club.

From Ashfield Rovers, Don was selected to play in the Western Suburbs A Grade District competition in 1931.

He was selected to play for Wests Presidents Cup team in 1933 and was graded with Wests the same year. He only played one Reserve Grade game that year.

Don went on to give great service to Wests as both a player and official over more than two decades.
