Alf Joass was the older brother of William “Ranji” Joass. The brothers played First Grade rugby union with St George from 1906 until 1910.
In 1911, Alf Joass came across to Wests with his brother Ranji and was immediately selected for First Grade.
Alf gave good service to Wests, not missing a First Grade game in two seasons.
