Bill

Bill Carpenter was born at Quirindi, on the NSW northern tablelands. He was a local Granville boy and grew up during an era when Granville Royals and the neighbouring Parramatta clubs were producing some fine young players, many of whom went on to have great careers with Wests and beyond. Bill was first recorded playing with Wests Third Grade team in 1922.
