Billy

William “Billy” Lane has been referred to as Wade Lane, however no record has been found to verify any connection with that name. Billy Lane was born at Waterloo, NSW in the South Sydney District. He played for Souths from 1919 to 1921, after returning from the First World War, making six First Grade appearances. He played with Wests in 1922 and 1923.
