Ron

Thomas William “Ron” Knight was born in Queensland in 1915. His family subsequently moved to NSW and settled in the Burwood area. In the early 1930’s the Knight family were living in Wyatt Ave Burwood near the Liverpool Rd at Enfield.

Ron’s father was an official with Wests holding various positions including Secretary of the Grade teams and Club Treasurer. The first recording of Ron was as a ball boy for the Wests First Grade team.
