Stan

The Rugby League Project has a note attributed to Stan Simpson’s grand-daughter. It notes that he was President of Parramatta Rugby League Club from 1948, and President of the Parramatta Leagues Club from 1957. He retired from his official positions after Parramatta won its first premiership in 1981.

Stan was a Life Member of Parramatta and carried the No.1 badge until his death in 1990. He was also a life member of Balmain, Wests, and the Australian Rugby League.

Stan Simpson was involved with rugby league for more than half a century.
