Lew

Lew Fisher was born in Sydney, NSW in 1915. He grew up in the Ashfield area where he learned to play rugby league. As a Wests junior he was selected to play in Wests President’s Cup team in 1935.

The 1935 President’s Cup team included Jack Knox, Phil Cooper, George Lucas, Jim Kinnard and Jack Rubinson. All of these players went on and played First Grade with Wests.
