Jack

John Long “Jack” Rubinson was a member of the well-known Rubinson family who were hoteliers on the Parramatta Rd at Concord. The Rubinsons for three generations were the licensees of the Oriental Hotel (later known as The Pine Inn).

He was the last of the Rubinson family to run the hotel. Over the years Jack and his father, Jack senior, were great benefactors to Wests and sport generally in the district.

Jack was educated at Holy Cross College, Ryde and later on went to Sydney University.

The Oriental Hotel, Parramatta Rd Concord. Inset Jack Rubinson senior.
