Ken

Ken Sherwood was the son of a Police Inspector who was based at Ashfield NSW. Ken was a Wests junior who played with the Summer Hill Iona Club from where he was selected for the Western Suburbs President’s Cup team in 1923.

He was graded with Wests in 1926 and made his First Grade debut in 1927. Ken mainly played in the centres. He formed a powerful combination with Wests Cliff Pearce.
