Ted

Ted Mead was a Wests pioneer playing in the Club’s very first game against Balmain. He was an influential administrator with the Club and as a delegate to the NSWRL.

He was selected in 1908 for Metropolitan, which played against the New Zealand Maoris, and then for NSW Firsts in 1909.

Ted continued in various roles with Wests until the mid 1930’s. Ted Mead’s son, Les Mead, debuted for Wests in 1930 and subsequently played for Australia.
