Charles

In identifying player #106 the player time line led back to the St George District. A check of records indicated that there were two Charles Thackerays in this district, one being far too old to have played football in the relevant period.

The Charles Thackeray identified as player #106 was a resident of Rockdale and played his junior football with local clubs before moving up into the Grade ranks via the Western Suburbs 3rd Grade team which was based in the St George District in 1911.
