A. Blake is referred to as Arthur Blake in the book, “Clouds of Dust, Buckets of Blood.” Brothers, Arthur and Charles Blake played in Wests Reserve Grade team in 1908 and 1909. One of them played a game in First Grade in 1908. As Charles Blake is nominated as making his First Grade debut with Wests in 1909, it can be assumed that it was Arthur Blake who made his First Grade debut with Wests in 1908.
